Jean-Cosme Delaloye

Jean-Cosme Delaloye is the director of DESIRE: THE CARL CRAIG STORY, the feature documentary on Detroit techno legend Carl Craig, that had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024 and its UK premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival in March 2025. The film also had its theatrical in the UK on May 8, 2025 with a sold out screening at the IMAX in London. It is scheduled to come out in US cinemas on September 17, 2025.

Jean-Cosme is currently finishing VOICE OF THE RAINBOW, a feature film on Venezuelan soprano Samuel Marino, and directing HARLEYWOOD, a new documentary series inspired by his 2020 Tribeca documentary HARLEY. He also directed IN THE CROWD, a feature documentary on Argentinian hooligans. In 2018, he directed the Netflix documentary STRAY BULLET. Prior to this film, he directed 2 award-winning feature documentaries in Central America, LA PRENDA, which premiered at Hot Docs ins 2015, and BY MY SIDE.

Jean-Cosme started out as a reporter and covered conflicts, gangs and crises extensively. He teaches a documentary master program at L’Ecole Supérieure du Journalisme in Paris and is the founder of JCDe Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
