Jean-Cosme Delaloye

Jean-Cosme Delaloye is the director of Desire: The Carl Craig Story, the feature documentary of Detroit techno legend Carl Craig, that will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024. He also directed SCARS WE CARRY, a hybrid documentary coming out in 2023. This film is the sequel of the 2020 documentary HARLEY that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. He also directed IN THE CROWD, a feature documentary on Argentinian hooligans. In 2018, he directed the Netflix documentary STRAY BULLET. He also directed 2 award-winning feature documentaries in Central America, LA PRENDA, which premiered at Hot Docs ins 2015 and BY MY SIDE. Jean-Cosme started out as a reporter and covered conflicts, gangs and crises extensively. He teaches a documentary master program at L’Ecole Supérieure du Journalisme in Paris and is the founder of JCDe Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
